tips and techniques class

The School of Bass Tips and Techniques Class is held on a monthly basis and is free to all attendees young and old. The goal of this class is to provide an interactive approach to bass fishing techniques. The class is geared not only to the beginning angler but also to bass fishermen who bring a wide variety of skillsets. To get the most out of this class you are encouraged to bring your questions. In fact, if you submit areas of interest before the next class, chances are those topics will be covered.

Testimonials

Tips and Techniques class"I’d like to take a couple minutes to talk a little about Phil Clark’s “Tips and Techniques” class.  I’ve been attending that class for a little over a year and I can’t begin to tell you what a difference it has made in my bass fishing abilities.  I come from many years of exclusive fly fishing.  I naively thought that I could just step into bass fishing and get into fish right away.  Boy, was I mistaken.  I didn’t know the difference between a swim bait and a jig and thought a Senko was a misspelled word.  I knew right away that I needed help.

I like Phil’s class for several reasons:

  1. It’s free.
  2. It’s small, which leads to a lot of one-on-one instruction.
  3. No question is too dumb and I know that from personal experience.
  4. He’s a good teacher.
  5. It’s a hands-on type class with different rods and different baits available during the class.

I highly recommend the class to anyone who has questions about bass fishing, whether he or she is a novice, intermediate or professional angler." Denny Welch, club member
